Dr. Evelyn W. Ngugi is a medical doctor and senior public health leader with over 18 years of experience driving digital health–enabled health systems transformation in Kenya and globally. She currently serves as Director, Projects – Data Systems Engineering (Digital Health) and has held senior leadership roles at US CDC Kenya, managing USD 100M+ portfolios and leading national policy, service delivery integration, and data-driven health programs in partnership with government and donors.
Dr. Fred Mutisya is a medical doctor and award-winning health AI developer. He is Co-founder of CHAIRII, Health Tech Lead at Qhala, and AI Lead at the Kenya Health Informatics Association. His work in antimicrobial resistance and health AI won the 2025 Impact Prize in Vienna. He is pursuing graduate studies in Data Science and Field Epidemiology, volunteers in Kenya’s HIV program, and is a 2020 PEPFAR Heroes award recipient.
Mercy Wamboi is the Chief Finance Officer at Sapashe Group Limited with strong expertise in financial management, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and internal controls. She safeguards the company’s financial integrity while supporting strategic decision-making and sustainable growth. Known for her accuracy and attention to detail, Mercy ensures robust financial systems, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting, translating complex financial data into clear insights that strengthen governance and drive long-term success.
Eng. Sammy Kimutai is an Electrical and Telecommunications Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing advanced telecommunications and IT infrastructure. As Chief Technology Officer, he provides strategic and technical leadership, ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. A graduate of Moi University, Sammy is known for his technical expertise, results-driven approach, and commitment to building resilient, future-ready systems that support sustainable growth and community development.
Brian Bartai is the Business Development Manager at Sapashe Group Limited, leading initiatives that drive sustainable growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand the company’s presence in new markets. With a customer-centric and strategic approach, he excels at identifying high-impact opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and delivering value-driven solutions. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science (General) from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Sales from KIMS.
